FFO: Periphery, After the Burial, Tesseract; djenty, groovy, and symphonic with some metalcore influence (but don’t think metalcore is a bad thing) Italy’s “symphonic djent” quintet Logical Terror will be releasing a new single and video this Friday, May 31, and I’ve been fortunate enough to get a […]
Orhpalis is releasing their album “The Approaching Darkness” on June 7th through Rising Nemesis Records. The German technical death metal dudes are premiering “The Futility Of Existence” today from their upcoming album! It’s an absolute brutal mind blower to say the least. The band is totally on point, and is […]
I’m back with the last batch of bands that I discovered within the genre of death metal. This is my last group of bands for the series, and some you may not have heard of so I’ll be supplying some links this time. In comparison to the first […]
Unbowed has released another single titled “Home”. You can listen to their previous single “The Athem Of I” at this link to get up to par with their new(er) releases. They impressed me mightily at the show with First Fragment with their plethora of many sounds I kept tabs on them. They’re […]
Brutal Death Metal/Slam monsters Ingested released a great album last year “The Level Above Human” that I thoroughly enjoyed. Ingested […]

Death metal underdogs Abnormality dropped the best death metal album of the year within the last few weeks. Straightforward, brutal, honest and punishing. They’ve been on my radar for years with 2012’s masterpiece “Contaminating The Hive”, and especially 2016’s “Mechanisms Of Omniscience”. Their groove, riffs and nasty vocals keep you […]
Protopilot released this amazing offering at the end of April and I’m still not over how great of a piece of music this is. To be honest, Buffalo isn’t full of a ton of artsy and unusual bands. Don’t get me wrong, there’s some good bands in the area….Protopilot […]
