Swedish death metal project Carnal Savagery is our featured band for October 2026! While I respectfully dislike the muddy tone of the HM-2, if you have good songwriting and dynamics I can be distracted. There’s a lot of bands from that country I dig in that style but yeah that tone doesn’t do it for me. Carnal Savagery is a drastically underrated band that hasn’t been around too long. With the debut dropping in 2020, they put out their seventh album last year! While they are a studio band, doesn’t mean they aren’t legitimate. The music is awesome, the vocals are great and the drums are solid. Lots of great music to dive into here and hope you all enjoy this great band!

Off topic shoutout to my contributor John who’s been picking up my (Dave, website owner) slack. Between my band, two jobs, new fest I launched in June I have less time here. Im definitely at my creative limit and can’t handle any more. I appreciate him big time putting out content when I can’t always do it. You’ve seen more of his articles than me by far. Thanks for continuing to believe in my website everyone!
