Inanimate Existence has been on my personal radar since “Calling From A Dream” and I’ve been OBSESSED with this band ever since. The Ritual Aura was really fun, they freaking rip. I’ve known this band just as long as TRA, and I have the same connection musically with these guys. […]
New Jersey’s Embludgeonment is releasing exactly what their album title suggests, a “Barn Burner”. Comatose Music is one of the best extreme metal labels right now, and this stellar release is just even more proof for this blossoming record company. “Barn Burner” will officially be out on April 19th of this […]
Hey guys! Time for more of Dave babbling about bands that got him into certain music subgenres! Today is the second wave of bands that influenced my journey further into the realms of death metal…..and what I can recall (kind of. I’ll be really thinking about who I […]
The Chernobyl Agency put on another banger of a show featuring a few of the area’s better bands, with some plot twists. I’ve lost confidence in Buffalo’s original music, I won’t hide behind it. I didn’t think it would be close to a sell out, especially for a show […]
I think it’s pretty well established who the “Big Four” are. But like, aren’t they all thrash bands or something? Well whatever. I think for this Gospel, I’d like to go through a few candidates for the “Big Four” of techdeath. I also think that it’s pretty safe […]
Brainblast have premiered ANOTHER new song from their upcoming offering! If you haven’t heard their debut song “Dextrorotatory Gammadeon” you can listen to it by clicking that link! “Unbreathable Atmosphere” is equally as wild as the previous song, and it looks like the band will be unleashing new music every […]

Chromadrive is a great band that makes impressive music. These guys bring a whackier sound to the fusion game, and I dig it. I love how upfront the saxophone is, and it only adds to their unusual sound. Chromadrive has an interesting, fun and groovy musical adventure for everyone […]
Canada’s own The Flaying is releasing their sophomore album today through PRC Music. Now to be honest I only heard of the band when they recently released the single Elegy of Emptiness. There’s no other way to describe this awesome new band I recently got into. They’re straight up death metal with […]
Colorado’s own Vale Of Pnath is releasing their EP “Accursed” on May 17th through their label Willowtip Records. Vance and the boys took a different direction, which I thoroughly enjoyed to say the least. The band took a technical black metal approach, in comparison to their death metal sound they’ve […]
