I interviewed musical mastermind Alex Weber of Exist /Wait/Svengahli/bassist luthier/man of many trades and bands. I’ve been too involved in work this year and this month is gonna be slow, so I’ll be able to put in more work on the site starting with this interview. I knew he was […]
It’s no secret this summer has brought out the caveman in me in many ways, which also applies to our website’s monthly showcases.  I’ve been shockingly honed in on Exist lately with their supreme new release “Egoista” after a tremendous sophomore release “So True, So Bound” that drew me in […]
The Odious Construct have released some new material with their latest blazing single “Throne Of Misanthropy”. Now, the guys have partnered with us to showcase the world their guitar prowess with the same song on this wonderful playthrough. In my honest opinion they have been one of the dark […]
My friend Dmitri of RealityFade Records has really helped establish his young record label with some wildly brutal bands in their short existence. Without a doubt they’ve been one of my favorite record labels the last few years and are and up & coming record label. Being a smaller label, […]
Cytotoxin is prepared to release their fourth devastating release “Nuklearth” upon us in a few days on August 21st.  Some people love them, some don’t and that’s expected.  Not everyone can get into every band or understands their radioactive and gas mask “gimmick” (if that’s what you want to […]
One of death metal’s most historic and glorified bands Incantation is releasing another album this coming Friday August 21st “Sect Of Vile Divinities”.  What more can you expect from this doom influenced death metal? One of my favorite bands to carry the progressive death metal torch Black Crown Initiate are releasing an ever so important album this Friday August 7th.  Our Pennslyvania neighbors personally gathered my interest years ago when they were a minor support slot for death/grind legends Cattle Decapitation when the band […]
August’s Artist Of The Month here at TMR is the up and coming slammers Visions Of Disfigurement! I’ve been on a huge caveman/slam/brutal death metal binge since the beginning of summer and it’s kinda reflected on my monthly artist features, and VOD really brings down the house with their […]
Belgian slam outfit Human Barbecue is debuting their brand new single “Sliced And Eviscerated” with us today on TMR! Wakeup with some coffee and disgusting slams! The band’s album “Bloodstained Altars” will be out on September 13th on one of my favorite record labels Realityfade Records. They keep acquiring such disgusting, […]
Not a lot of modern heavy metal catches my ears, but Catalysis did when they released their Self Titled EP last year.  After an impressive debut, I’ve been keeping tabs on the band and voila they are promoting a new release!  “Connection Lost” is out tomorrow July 24th and it’s quite a […]
