Brutal Tech supergroup Eschaton is our June 2025 band of the month. The newest album “Techtalitarian” just dropped and surprised me. I didn’t think they were a thing anymore then saw there were a few new members. Mac Smith (ex Krosis, Hammer of Dawn and a slew of other projects) is a great vocalist and addition. Christian Munzner (he doesn’t need an introduction) is one of the best guitarists you’ll ever hear. 2019’s “Death Obsession” was a stellar release and my introduction to this project.

Of their three releases the new album is the heaviest by far. And they haven’t forgotten their tech roots. It’s a sweet release you shouldn’t sleep on. Christian was also a part of the Retromorphosis debut (spawn reincarnated) and truthfully this isn’t far behind.
