Here are some more bands that are new to well, us at least. If you don’t know them that’s a victory for us! We’ve been doing this since the early part of the year so check out our old editions that feature a plethora of music before you explore this week’s picks.
Their debut album was released last year and it’s death metal that is done properly. Brutal, heavy, energetic and no filler. OHS never lets their feet off the gas pedal and don’t rely on gimmicks and idiocy to enhance their music. They actually rely on their talent and boy are they a stellar band. Check out that self titled debut below and crank it as loud as you possibly can!
Marc Durkee is a talented progressive rock artist out of Canada who released a phenomenal album earlier this year titled “Remain In Stasis” What more can be said? He has a eclecitc background in musical taste. Durkee has an even better voice and is a really good songwriter. Listen to that emotional album below!
Lumenwood is a progressive/technical death metal project consisting of a bunch of talented people. The lead single “Vault Of The Augur” has guest spots from Phil Tougas (Guitar phenom) and vocalist Adrian Perez (Warforged)! The band has been hard at work on their debut EP “Eldritch Rites” there is no guesstimated release date yet.
