They don’t need an introduction, they’re absolutely great. Psycroptic is dropping their mind bending record “Divine Council” this Friday August 5th. Outside of Soreption, Psyroptic has been consistently releasing stellar albums and always improving to say the least. Can you believe it’s already been 2 decades? I absolutely […]
One of my favorites in extreme metal the legendary Belphegor dropped their latest studio album “The Devils” yesterday July 29th. Like a fine wine they have aged gracefully this being their 12th release and their newer releases from the last decade or so still hold up well. The […]
Severed Headshop is premiering a blistering new track fromt his new band titled “Self Gorification”. The song is a ripping death/grind affair from the debut EP “The Fuckening” that releases August 5th on Everlasting Spew Records. Blending early 2000 brutal death with blackened sorceries and modern Death Metal […]
Brutal/old school death metal band Vomit Forth is releasing their full length “Seething Malevolence” this Friday July 8th. I’ve been a fan of this band for over a year and personally anticipating this album, suffice to say I’m even more impressed. My favorite release is the 2019 EP […]
TMR- Tell our followers about the history of your band, for those who aren’t familiar with Illucinus. Back in about ’04 we were a metalcore band called Concealed Damage. One day Petr and Brandon (Concealed Damage) were walking home from school and heard someone playing Laid to Rest […]
Soreption is releasing its anticipated album “Jord” this Friday June 10th. The last album “Monument Of The End” wasn’t bad by any means and had a handful of bangers. Guitarist Mikael Almgren exited and entered Ian Waye (who’s currently a live guitarist). I am not sure who wrote […]
Dischordia is releasing their ambitious full length “Triptych” on Transcending Obscurity Reccords later this month on the 29th. This album falls short of nothing and improves on the two song journey “Binge/Purge” from 4 years ago that still holds as my personal favorite. They added even more dissonance, […]
Australian death metal group Alter Idem released an adventurous new song “Death Perception” which is a bit different their 2020 EP “Fragments Of Consciousness” in a good way. The song is still slam focused, but there’s some dissonance and some mood changes along the way. I think it […]
Hath is back! This quartet just dropped their second full-length album, full of evil riffs, vocals that sound like bestial incantations, and easily the greatest drum performance in blackened death metal that I’ve ever heard. I don’t know what exactly was promised (haha lol fuckin funny joke), but […]
Hey there people! 2022 is shaping up to be hella sick as far as heavy music goes. I’m going to attempt to do a weekly roundup for the rest of the year, as long as there’s enough content and I don’t forget due to ingesting many callous chemicals […]
