Guitar phenom Felix Martin has released another new song “Thundertap” from his upcoming album “The Gathering”. There’s a music video to accompany the song and the song title describes it perfectly. It’s heavily focused on tapping and a rather ferocious start to the song. Halfway through it slows down and comes to a nice break speed wise. Then it picks back up and the trio effortlessly closes out the song with another furious run showcasing their dominant rhythms. His unique songwriting style, tapping techniques and double neck guitar attack interested me over a decade ago when I heard his music. It’s so cool and so unique more people need to listen to his work.

“For this album, I wanted to write strong and well defined melodies (mostly using my chord soloing technique) while keeping my sound as unique as possible using my tapping techniques. This gives me a huge palette  of sounds and possibilities.” says Felix.
