Brutal death metal band Monument Of Misanthropy is our July 2023 Artist Of The Month! They are a good blend of heavy with a dash of technical ability. 2021’s “Underweger” was my discovery of the band and it is one heck of an album. With a couple of releases to date (and ironically just releasing a new ripping single “How To Make A Killer”) they’re one of the most overlooked extreme metal bands today. With the ever-growing amount of death metal style/adjacent bands today, it’s very easy to lose some bands in translation. We are here to make sure Monument Of Misanthropy turns into one of your favorite new death metal bands. With said new single, one would assume there’s a new release in the wings.
