Progressive Metal Band Vintersea is our May 2023 Artist Of The Month! Ironically I just put out an article on their upcoming album “Woven Into Ashes” basically saying its their best effort to date. They’re heavy, melodic, beautiful, moody and adventurous. Great vocals (both sung and growled BTW), guitar work, rhythms and songwriting are a group of the band’s best attributes. 2019’s “Illuminated” was my introduction to the band and when I saw they were working on new music I was elated.

Vintersea is one of the more underrated progressive bands going these days and hope this month long spotlight gets them the recognition they deserve. As usual with this showcase, we will be posting a song daily from the band’s library for you the follower to listen to (if you so desire). Don’t forget, their new album is dropping THIS FRIDAY May 5th “Woven Into Ashes”.
