Italian Brutal Death Metal masters Devangelic are our featured Artist Of The Month for April 2024. Arriving in the scene in the earlier part of last decade, Devangelic wooed the community with their historic debut “Resurrection Denied”. The sophomore release “Phlegethon” caught my ears with their fantastic guitar work, vocals and rhythms. The band has been flying the flag high for the genre and is criminally underrated. Each record the band’s songwriting dramatically improves and 2023’s “Xul” was another proof of that. The band has a knack not overstaying their welcome on any of their albums. Italy has pumped out many great death metal bands and Devangelic is one of the best bands they have going right now.
