Midwest death metal band Maul is our featured band for April of 2026! Their most recent album “In The Jaws Of Bereavement” is my favorite album of theirs. The label they’re on 20 Buck Spin is the home to many great death metal bands. Maul is included in that long list of bands. They have many great riffs, rhythms and phenomenal vocals. They don’t overdo it and keep it simple. Sometimes, there’s some melodies but isn’t melodic death metal by any means. It’s a great listen and we highly suggest this underrated band.
