Multi Instrumentalist Nikhil Talwalkar is our website’s March Featured Artist of the month! If you don’t know this kid is a part of so many bands (isn’t even 21 years old!) you can’t keep track. Anal Stabwound (does all vocals, guitar, drums and bass), Bludgeoned (drums), Ectoplasmorphosis (drums), Infibulated (drums), Theurgy (bass and vocals), and Undeciphered (drums). Oh did I mention he plays with Immortal Suffering and Putridity for live shows? And, he released a phenomenal jazz fusion EP last year. Nikhil’s talent has no limits and has a long way to go until he’s considered “old”. And he’s just getting started! He’s flying the flag high for brutal and technical death metal, as I’ve been a fan for years since I knew of his band AS. Finding out he was a part of Bludgeoned a few years ago absolutely excited me and has been a treat to see this kid’s progress.

He always has his hands on something and has gotten some cool jobs lately between IS and Putridity(I believe he recorded with them on the latest EP if I’m not mistaken). Like, he literally freaking does everything and blows my mind. Seeing his Defeated Sanity and Malignancy full covers was jaw dropping. If you want a treat check out his AS playthroughs! NT has so many brutal/tech entities as listed above but don’t sleep on his fusion EP. You’ll get a different track to check out from one of many bands hes in every day. And well, there’s plenty.
