Australian progressive death metal outfit is dropping a new track with us today titled “Astral Deceit”. The band aims to give a heavy, sonic, dissonant experience and this track does that. The band is from Perth out of Western Australia to be exact. The song has a nice heavy atmosphere and is packed with some cool guitar licks that keeps it entertaining. It’s not over the top technical like Archspire and is palatable for the average fan to consume. In the lyric video the band states the LP this track is coming from is arriving at the halfway point this year. There’s a little bit of time until that full slab of experimental death metal is dropped upon us. The band falls into some solid pocket grooves on the 5 minute and 47 second adventure.
